‘The benefits and opportunities afforded to all organisations by investing in good access is demonstrated by increases in sales, improvements to services, expansion to market reach and return customers. Engaging Megan to share her personal experience of living with low vision provides our Access Consulting students with an ‘eye opening’ insight into the challenges that many people face on a daily basis. Her description of the barriers and challenges she faces and the hints and tips she shares for moving through the environment are very practical. They highlight how, with a little more thought in design, we can create spaces for everyone. Her delivery style is relaxed, she is very funny and shares her story with infectious enthusiasm which ensures our students walk away with a greater understanding of a range of issues to consider in creating environments for all.
